Brocéliande

Bertrand Monnerie

The Brocéliande Forest is the one where the adventures of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table took place in the Celtic culture. This is also the mysterious forest where Merlin the Wizard performed his magic.

Ten kilometers from the Brocéliande Forest, there is an orchard and cider house run by Bertrand Monnerie. Bertrand set up this orchard in 2012, specializing in growing a wide range of apple varieties and making a wide range of hard ciders.

Taking from nature and giving back to nature, Bertrand's orchard is officially certified organic, using Shropshire ewes to maintain the land and trees, and the pomace from the production process is used for methanization to reduce pollution. Every stage of the process, from the care of the apple trees, to the selection of apple varieties, to the final patient fermentation, is carried out in-house.

Inspired by the adventures of King Arthur and Merlin, this series of products will make your taste buds travel in the time of the ancient Celtic legends.
